


SMS holds body language seminar

Samahan ng mga Mag-aaral sa Sikolohiya conducted a seminar today about Body Language given by DLSU psychology professor Dr. Grant Nelson at room A1103 of Br. Andrew Gonzalez Hall.
Dr. Nelson receieved his doctorate degree in Psychology with specialization in Health Psychology and Behavioral Medicine from Northcentral University, Prescott, Arizona. He is a Board Certified Professional Counselor from the American Psychotherapy Association who works collaboratively with other healthcare professionals in the treatment of acute and chronic health conditions.
The seminar focused on understanding other people’s body language which is commonly encountered on daily basis. Aside from interpreting body language, ways on identifying when a person is lying and the connection between depression and nonverbal actions were also discussed. Dr. Nelson ended the seminar by opening the floor to accommodate the students’ queries.
