


Career talk on Pathways to Psychology

The Psychology Department, in cooperation with Samahan ng mga Mag-aaral sa Sikolohiya, held its first installment today of "Pathways to Psychology: Doing graduate work and / or starting a career in academia" from 1:30-3:30 at A1103. The career talk focused on the students' queries regarding tips for undergoing graduate studies.
The speaker, Professor Allan B. I. Bernardo from the University of Macau, was also a former DLSU Full Professor of Psychology and President of the Psychological Association of the Philippines. He was a multi-awarded researcher who was able to publish several works in psychology both locally and internationally. To find out more about his credentials:

Some of the questions addressed in the talk include scholarship processes, ideal countries to pursue graduate studies, the whole concept of graduate studies, and many more. At the end of the seminar, Professor Allan B. I. Bernardo was awarded a certificate of appreciation to acknowledge not only his talk but also his feat as an academician, researcher, publisher, writer and chancellor.
