The Office of Career and Counseling Services (OCCS), in cooperation with Samahan ng mga Mag-aaral sa Sikolohiya (SMS), Behavioral Science Society (BSS), Computer Studies Government (CSG) and CATCH2T16 Batch Government held a career talk today with Smart Communications during DLSU's 2014 Job Expo.
The career talk centered on how students can apply for work in Smart Communications, including the documents and processes involved. Apart from Smart Communcations, DLSU's other partner industries held a career talk including Globe, Del Monte, HSBC, IBM, Accenture and many others. With over a hundred partner industries, DLSU graduates are very much in demand especially during graduation seasons.
Smart Communications also needs recruits in their Human Resources arm, and so undergraduates from the psychology program may consider applying for work in a telecommunications company as such.
Along with several projects planned by SMS this academic year, SMS President Harvey Yulo ensures that the needs of the psychology majors will be addressed and taken as one of the organization's top priorities.
